Joint Stock Company "Astyk Trans" is a Kazakh enterprise specializing in railway transportation of grain and other agricultural goods.

JSC “Astyk Trans” was established in 2013.

The main activity of JSC “Astyk Trans” is the railway transportation of grain and other agricultural goods in its own, leased and outsourced fleet of wagons.

5.5 million tons of grain may be transported annually thanks to the roughly 6,300 grain wagons that JSC “Astyk Trans” manages in total. At the same time, the Company has the opportunity to increase production capacities by attracting an additional fleet of wagons to meet the increasing demands of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Kazakhstan for grain transportation by rail.

JSC "Astyk Trans" provides priority for domestic grain transportation throughout Kazakhstan. Export transportation is also carried out in all directions - to the traditional markets for Kazakh grain in Central Asia, in the direction of Azerbaijan, primarily through the ports of the Caspian Sea, to China, to European countries, through the ports of the Azov-Black Sea basin.

Development strategy of JSC "Astyk Trans":

• Consolidation of efforts to meet the demands of the agro-industrial complex of Kazakhstan for railway transportation;
• Development of transport and forwarding activities, including routing of grain transportation;
• Development of multimodal transportation of grain cargo, use of the entire transport complex of the country in order to reduce the delivery time of goods and optimize existing logistics routes;
• Maintaining a high level of corporate governance of the Company;
• Development of a corporate information management system to implement efficient logistics, operational activities, support external and internal information communications;
• Expansion and modernization of the fleet of wagons to meet the growing demand for transportation of Kazakh grain
• Development and improvement of the regional network, republican and international representative offices;
• Implementation of international quality standards for internal business processes of management and reporting.
