JSC "Astyk Trans" participated in a meeting with flour milling enterprises of Turkestan region and Shymkent

On October 26, a meeting was held with flour milling enterprises of Turkestan region and Shymkent city, arranged at NCE «Atameken» (Shymkent). The Vice-President for Commerce of JSC «Astyk Trans» Kuanyshev Zhandos participated in the meeting and made a report on the topic «Aspects of domestic transportation of grain cargoes».

In his report, he noted the dynamics of a decrease in grain transportation in domestic directions, which is the largest decrease in domestic transportation in 2021 (according to data for 8 months of 2021). The decrease is primarily due to the transition of the western and eastern regions of Kazakhstan to road transport. According to foreign analysts, the rates of industrial (PPI) and consumer (CPI) inflation in Kazakhstan in 2021 are 48% and they are the highest in the world. An important factor affecting transportation pricing is also the cost of repairing the fleet of grain carriers of JSC «Astyk Trans», where the dynamics of stable growth has also been observed since 2019.
Despite the growth of industrial inflation, the increase in the cost of metal on world markets by almost 2 times, the increase in the cost of fuel, repairs and other expenses, JSC «Astyk Trans» maintains low rates for domestic transportation until the end of 2021.
