Astyk Trans JSC informs about change of shareholders

In March 2025, 100% stake in Astyk Trans JSC was transferred on a parity basis to international investment companies: Temir Dala Investments Holding Ltd (United Arab Emirates) and Maamoura Wheat Trading LLC (Sultanate of Oman).
Temir Dala Investments Holding LTD investment company is a part of international trading and investment Group of companies “SOLARIS”, registered in United Arab Emirates. The controlling shareholder of the Group is the sovereign investment fund of the Sultanate of Oman. SOLARIS Group trades grain crops in more than 40 countries around the world, as well as invests in infrastructure assets, food and agricultural companies in Central Asia, North Africa, the Middle East and Latin America.
Maamoura Wheat Trading LLC, an investment company, is owned by an investment family office from the Sultanate of Oman.
For investment companies Temir Dala Investments Holding LTD and Maamoura Wheat Trading LLC, the acquisition of Astyk Trans JSC is an attractive investment that will allow diversifying trade and investment activities in the direction of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as, on the basis of the Kazakh company, in the direction of Central Asian countries. Investments in Astyk Trans JSC strengthen SOLARIS Group's position in the international market of logistics services, which strengthens Kazakhstan's role in ensuring global food security.
For Astyk Trans JSC, attraction of investment companies Temir Dala Investments Holding LTD and Maamoura Wheat Trading LLC as shareholders will allow to attract additional foreign investments, increase production activities in Kazakhstan and Central Asian countries, as well as expand production and commercial activities in terms of grain transportation to new international markets.


Astyk Trans JSC is a Kazakh company primarily engaged in the transportation of grain and other agricultural products by rail using its own, leased, and contracted rolling stock, as well as multimodal transportation with the loading of grain into containers and sea vessels.
The Company specialises exclusively in the transportation of Kazakh grain to all domestic and export destinations and will further develop its activities in providing logistics for Kazakh grain and agricultural products produced in or towards Kazakhstan. Astyk Trans JSC has high competences in the railway sphere and is one of the few companies that performs routing of grain transportation, which allows to significantly reduce delivery time. The geography of grain transportation corresponds with the directions of export of grain crops of Kazakhstan: these are traditional directions of Central Asia, China, countries of the Mediterranean basin through the ports of the Black and Baltic seas.
Since the company was established in 2013, it has transported about 54 million tonnes of grain cargo, with an average of up to 5 million tonnes of grain transported per year, primarily providing domestic grain transportation for bread producers, poultry and livestock enterprises.
As of today, Astyk Trans JSC has its own fleet of 3,400 grain cars and leases an additional 2,700 grain cars. In addition, the company attracts an additional fleet of up to 1,500 cars under forwarding contracts during the transportation season. At the same time, the entire fleet, including the attracted one, is focused on the transportation of Kazakh grain and serves exclusively Kazakh grain producers and grain traders.
Astyk Trans JSC considers the safety of transportations as the main priority and invests significant funds in the maintenance of wagons. The fleet managed by the company is fully serviceable and operated in normal technical condition. From 2013 to 2025, the company's investments in the acquisition and repair of rolling stock exceeded 31.8 billion tenge.
