Growth of tariffs from September 1, 2019

Astyk Trans JSC reports that taking into account the upcoming grain transportation season and the need to adjust the cost of providing wagons after a seasonal decrease in summer, as well as considering the increase in the cost of repairs and maintenance of the wagon fleet, in the context of a constant, multiple increase in prices for spare parts, the Company's tariff commission made a decision on a seasonal increase in the cost of providing grain wagons in export and domestic directions from September 01, 2019.
It should be noted that earlier in April and May 2019, the cost of providing grain wagons in directions was reduced to an average of 40%. At the same time, the Company continues to invest in the acquisition of new and major repairs with the extension of the service life of existing grain wagons. The cost adjustment will be carried out no higher than industrial inflation. Let us remind that the cost of repairs since mid-2018 has increased by 60% in general, and in terms of parts and wheelsets - by 105 - 110%.
