ON CHANGES IN RAILROAD FARE FROM MARCH 07, 2025

Dear clients and partners!

Pursuant to the protocol resolution of the State Commission for Modernization of the Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 21-05/07-1413 dated November 18, 2024, Order of KTZ NC JSC No. 2-Ц dated February 20, 2025, it was decided to apply increasing indices to the fares for regulated services of backbone railway network within the price limits approved by the order of Committee for Regulation of Natural Monopolies of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 26-ОД dated February 21, 2024.
Increasing indices are applied to transportation of freight in railcars in export traffic and their empty return in import traffic, as well as during transportation of freight in railcars in transit traffic through the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan within the borders of the EAEU and their empty return, including transportation through stations of Kazakhstani railroads located in the territory of the EAEU member states, with entry into force from March 07, 2025 to December 31, 2025. Moreover, the effect of previously introduced increasing indices to fares for regulated services of backbone railway network in transit transportation of freight within the EAEU borders shall be abolished.
The above changes shall be implemented in the ASU DKR (Automated Control System Contractual and Commercial Work) and the ARM AGKR (Automated workstation of freight and commercial work agent) and posted on the website www.railways.kz.

Please be reminded that the tariff rate billed to the client for freight forwarding services shall include railway fare of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy NC JSC.
Increased cost of transportation from March 07, 2025 is conditioned only by increase of railway fare of the Carrier (Kazakhstan Temir Zholy NC JSC), however we would like to inform you that the Company's tariff policy remains unchanged.
