To date, with balanced loading by the fleet of Astyk Trans JSC, it is possible to carry out 7,775 car shipments per month. Of these, 3,500 wagons of the Company are involved in intra-republican transportation (in the southern direction) within the framework of concluded memoranda with grain processors, ensuring stable operation of domestic processors. Another 1,300 wagons are operating under a contract with Food Contract Corporation NC JSC, fulfilling state tasks to ensure the country's food security. The remaining part of the fleet is distributed among companies engaged in export transportation.
Given the lack of diversified sales markets, with a plan for Central Asia of 2,500 wagons per month, applications averaged 5,000 wagons, while in October shipments in this direction increased by 25% of the annual average.
As a result, there was a forced situation with the concentration of wagons in the Saryagash direction. Unfortunately, despite the measures taken by KTZ NC JSC to limit the loading of other goods and the priority delivery of grain wagons, the Uzbek side does not have time to unload incoming wagons on time. This led to unproductive downtime of wagons, as a result of which the turnover of wagons in the Central Asian direction increased significantly.
Delays of wagons in the main direction (70% of the total loading) led to an increase in the total turnover of wagons in other directions. As a result of the above, we have to state that the loading resource is limited, and it is not possible to fully fulfill the applications accepted for the month of November.
The Company is forced to announce the postponement of the execution of part of the November applications to December of the current year.
We appeal to you with a request to take into account the circumstances beyond the control of Astyk Trans JSC and to prolong the existing grain delivery contracts. For our part, we continue to do everything possible to accelerate the turnover of rolling stock, stabilize the transportation schedule and minimize the impact of the current situation on our customers' plans.
We are confident that by working together we will be able to overcome temporary difficulties and ensure sustainable operation in the future.
