According to the statistics of previous years, the grain loading of JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (hereinafter - KTZ) in September was: in 2020 – 13012 wagons (886,049 thousand tons), in 2021 – 9 682 wagons (664,116 thousand tons), in 2022 – 10,876 wagons (747,176 thousand tons). As practice shows, the average loading for 3 years in September is 11190 wagons (765.78 thousand tons).
For 17 days in September 2023, 3904 wagons (262.96 thousand tons) were loaded by KTZ, which is 36% of the technical plan. While maintaining the existing loading rates by the end of the month, it is forecasted that loading in wagons will be at the level of 6889 wagons (464.05 thousand tons), which is 64% and 63% of the plan, respectively, in wagons and tons.
A similar situation regarding the loading of grain cargo in JSC "Astyk Trans" (hereinafter – the Company) over the past 3 years, loading in September amounted to: in 2020 – 6792 wagons (463,118 thousand tons), in 2021 – 5011 wagons (339,758 thousand tons), in 2022 – 5993 wagons (408,506 thousand tons). tn).The average loading of the Company for 3 years in September is 5,992 wagons (403.79 thousand tons).
For 17 days in September 2023, the Company loaded 1768 wagons (121.09 thousand tons), which is 30% of the plan. While maintaining the existing loading rates, by the end of the month, loading is forecasted to be completed at the level of 3120 wagons (213.70 thousand tons), which is 53% of the plan in wagons and tons.
According to KTZ, as of September this year, the main plan accepted about 7000 applications for transportation, the percentage of fulfillment of the forecasted loading of grain compared to the accepted applications under the main plan is 95%.
As of September this year, the Company has accepted 2823 applications for transportation under the main plan, the percentage of grain loading in 17 days of September 2023 compared to the accepted applications is 63%.
Taking into account the above, we note that limiting the approval of additional plans will lead to unproductive downtime of wagons at loading stations, as a result, a transport collapse is forecasted, the end of which is possible only by the end of the season.
