An analysis of the Company’s wagon turnaround for the elapsed period of August and September of the current year showed unproductive wagon downtime during cargo operations. With a planned loading time of 4 days, the actual loading time is 6.69 days for export traffic and 7.73 days for domestic traffic. A similar situation is observed with wagon downtime during unloading: against the standard downtime of 4 days, the actual downtime is 4.12 days for export traffic and 4.75 days for domestic traffic.
Above-standard downtime during cargo operations due to reasons beyond the Company’s control negatively affects wagon turnaround, reduces the Company’s available loading capacity, and may result in delays in meeting customer requests. As a result, wagon placement schedules are shifted by 5–10 days.
We kindly ask shippers to use wagon loading
capacity responsibly, carry out loading and unloading operations in a timely
manner, and ensure the timely completion of all related processes.
