EXPANDING THE RANGE OF SERVICES

JSC «Astyk Trans» together with the subsidiary company «Marine Logistics Center» LLP, which carries out grain forwarding in the port of Aktau, through the terminal of JSC «Ak Bidai-Terminal», carried out export multimodal transportation of grain to the Republic of Azerbaijan. More than 8,800 tons of wheat were sent. The functions of organizing, coordinating and controlling operations for the specified grain transportation were carried out by Marine Logistics Center LLP.
The provision of export multimodal grain transportation services on the route from the north of Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan included full support at every stage of the transport and logistics chain, starting with loading grain into wagons at elevators, organizing grain quality control, rail transportation, transshipment to the terminal and transshipment to the ship, sea transportation and unloading at the port of destination. Also, the necessary documentation was issued, customs clearance, organization and control of transshipment in the port, nomination of the vessel and other procedures were carried out. In such a way, the Company has become a single contractor in solving all issues related to grain transportation for the shipper, which represents significant cost and time savings for the latter, as well as ensures fast and reliable cargo transportation.
