Stable tariff policy of JSC "Astyk Trans" and its impact on the price of bread

Since the beginning of 2021, there has been an increase in prices for socially important products in Kazakhstan, on average by 3.2% (according to the Ministry of Trade and Integration). As a result, large-scale measures are being taken to stabilize and preserve the prices of socially important food products.
One of the factors affecting the final cost of products is the cost of electricity, transportation, as well as the cost of the raw materials themselves.
The pricing policy of JSC «Astyk Trans» is aimed at building long-term relationships with customers and keeping the tariff growth within the limits of inflation. Despite the fact that low tariffs severely limit investment opportunities, realizing its responsibility for the market, the Company retains the cost of using grain carriers in the intra-republican communication. Since January 2021, the tariff rate for domestic transportation remains unchanged.
When calculating grain transportation from the northern part of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Kostanay) to the eastern, western and southern regions, the share of logistics costs is:

The calculation is made only for the wagon component of the owner of the wagons and does not include the railway tariff regulated and regulated by JSC NC «KTZ» together with state agencies, without the participation of JSC «Astyk Trans». The railway fare is re-presented to the client without charging additional commissions.
In such a way, the average cost of the wagon component of 1 ton of grain in intra-republican transportation remains at the level of 2,600 KZT per ton, while the cost of a ton of wheat at the loading elevator (north) is 100,000 KZT.
